Network Engineer

Title: Network Engineer Job DescriptionPlease note that this is a full-time, direct-hire role.  Due to segments of our customer base, we cannot sponsor employment visas.This role is for a mid-level network engineer to work with a Baltimore-based national client.  In this role, you will:Maintain and operate next-generation networking hardware, operating system selection, tools, and implementation techniques to meet customer’s requirementsSurvey network requirements of remote customer offices and campus buildingsAnalyze current network configurations and determine implementation requirementsUpgrade the configuration of existing network equipment to support new features and functionsWork with field installation contractors while they are on-site and provide all technical details to troubleshoot issuesImplement, upgrade, maintain, troubleshoot, and support Catalyst and Nexus switch platforms by maintaining a solid understanding of the switching technologies, remote management, and network topologies.
