Location: Remote - (Work From Home/Client Sites)

Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required

Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 Depending on Experience and Education

Travel: 80%

Position Summary

SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Metrology Analyst/Engineer to support our Metrology Group. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Support customer-site 3D measurement, scanning, inspection work.

Three-dimensional data collection, analysis, and metrology activities.

Conduct reverse engineering and/or dimensional inspection tasks utilizing 3D scanners, laser trackers, photogrammetry, and/or CMM arms to satisfy a variety of programs and deliverables for various customers.

Minimum Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Quality or technical field of study and 3-5+ years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.

Desired Experience

Laser Trackers (FARO preferred)

Portable CMM arms (FARO preferred)

Experience in Hydroelectric Power Generation or other large machinery inspection preferred

Precision Dimensional Inspection

CAD - ProEngineer/Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD

Reverse Engineering

Manufacturing drawings

TDP development

Point Cloud Post-processing

Tool and Fixture inspection

Dimensional inspection/analysis software - PolyWorks, Insight, CAM2, Spatial Analyzer, Verisurf

Point cloud processing/analysis/reverse engineering - PolyWorks, Geomagic, RapidForm, PointSense, ReCap
