Job Title:Subcontractor Body/Paint Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Body/Paint Technician to join our team on a subcontractor basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dent repair, panel replacement, and other bodywork as needed
Sand, mask, and prep surfaces for paint application
Apply primer, basecoat, and clear coat using professional spraying equipment
Ensure high-quality finishes that meet or exceed industry standards
Match paint colors and finishes using paint mixing systems
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area
Collaborate with the in-house team to ensure deadlines are met
Follow all safety and environmental regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience in automotive bodywork and painting
Must have own tools, spray equipment, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Access to a clean and safe work environment (or mobile unit, if applicable)
Strong attention to detail and workmanship
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Liability insurance preferred but NOT required
Preferred Qualifications:
I-CAR or ASE certification
Experience with classic cars, restorations, or high-end finishes
Familiarity with waterborne and solvent-based systems
