We are currently hiring kennel attendants for our dog boarding facility. Room for advancement is always available for people looking to move up and learn more. Immediate hire available.
Hours: 6am-1pm. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as these are our busiest times.
Kennel attendants care for pets while their owners are working or traveling. Basic attendant duties include cleaning cages and dog runs, feeding and medicating, exercising, and playing with animals. Experienced attendants also may provide basic healthcare, bathe animals, and attend to other basic health needs. Duties include walking dogs, cleaning kennel suites, cleaning floors/drains, bathing and nail trims, play group supervision, and general overall caretaking of the dogs in our facility.
This job is physically demanding and does require you to be outside throughout the shift, rain or shine. Must be able to walk a lot during your 7 hour shift as you are on your feet walking dogs. Must have reliable transportation.
