Small Neighborhood Tavern seeking fulltime Manager
Location: Dundalk, Md 21222
Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including staff management, customer service, inventory control, and financial performance. They are responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests while ensuring the bar runs smoothly and profitably. This involves hiring, training, and scheduling staff, managing budgets and inventory, and resolving customer complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management: Recruiting, training, and supervising bar & Kitchen staff
Customer Service: Ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all patrons, addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly.
Inventory Management: Ordering and maintaining adequate stock levels, managing costs, and minimizing waste.
Financial Management: Monitoring sales, managing budgets, and ensuring profitability.
Operational Efficiency: Implementing and maintaining procedures for efficient bar operations, including opening and closing routines, cleaning, and maintenance.
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as alcohol service laws. Compliance with company policies required
Promotional Activities:
Planning and executing special events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase revenue.
Menu Management: Developing and updating drink and food menus to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
Communication:Maintaining regular communication with staff and management, providing updates and feedback.
