Quality Assurance Engineer - Civil / Tunnel Infrastructure

We're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with a civil construction or infrastructure background to join our team in Baltimore, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our engineering projects through rigorous testing and quality control processes.Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and methodologiesDesign, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software systemsConduct thorough manual and automated testing to identify and document software defectsFamiliar with Amtrak, FRA, and state/local requirements for safety, environmental compliance, labor standards, and construction documentationSkilled in preparing compliance logs, monthly reports, non-conformance reports, and audit documentationAbility to interface with PMIS (Project Management Information Systems) like e-Builder, Primavera Unifier, or ProcoreCoordinates between design, construction, and compliance teamsInterfaces with Amtrak compliance officers, contractors, and third-party reviewers.Familiar with field inspection processes, submittal review, RFIs, and change order documentation from a compliance standpointProficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and database/reporting toolsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
