Call Center Specialist

Description We are seeking a Call Center Specialist to join our team in the Local Government sector based in BALTIMORE, Maryland. The Call Center Specialist will be responsible for handling a high volume of inbound calls, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle a high volume of inbound calls from customers with professionalism and efficiency Record and maintain accurate customer data in the system Provide excellent customer service, resolving customer inquiries promptly Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations of the call center Adapt to changing customer needs and call center protocols Uphold confidentiality and follow local government regulations in all interactions Use data entry skills to update and manage customer information Work in compliance with call center standards and practices Contribute to improving the customer service process and customer experience Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in a call center or customer service role Proven ability to manage large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner Proficiency in data entry, especially with customer service software and databases Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of call center systems and operations A strong customer focus and commitment to providing outstanding customer service Familiarity with local government operations and procedures is desirable Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and respect for confidentiality High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree from a recognized institution is a plus TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
