Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our finance team as a Full Cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and supporting our defense contracting operations. Accounts Payable (AP):
Invoice Processing: Receive and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Voucher Entry: Enter invoices into the Deltek Costpoint system, matching them to purchase orders and contracts.
Payment Processing: Prepare weekly payment batches accurately and timely, adhering to purchasing policies and procedures.
Vendor Communication: Collaborate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices.
Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances.
Accounts Payable Workflow: Drive continuous improvements to the accounts payable workflow.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
Customer Invoicing: Generate and send accurate invoices to defense clients based on contract terms.
Cash Application: Apply cash receipts from customer checks and ACH payments in the Deltek Costpoint system.
Credit Memos: Post credit memos against invoices as needed.
Aging Management: Maintain aging integrity by consistently following up on past-due accounts.
Financial Reporting: Prepare reports on accounts receivable balances and aging.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Associates degree or Bachelors degree preferred
Minimum of 4+ years of full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable experience.
Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint is preferred but NOT required.
Ability to meticulously review financial records and identify discrepancies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to collaborate and contribute to the success of the finance team.
Depending on the defense contracts supported, a security clearance eventually is preferred but not required
