Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Grow your career in an environment that encourages learning, development, and creativity.Basic Qualifications:- Candidate must possess security clearance with a polygraph- Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.Sourcing for SE3 candidates with strong skills in:- Systems troubleshooting including hardware and software, Linux, Analysis capabilities, Communications, Java/ Scripting in ruby/python/bash, SOP development, familiarity with: Rancher, Ansible, Elastic Search, Redis, Solr, Data Flow, Docker and Kubernetes.- Linux skills, Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus- Monitoring and troubleshooting OS, Applications,and escalating as required.- Troubleshooting dataflow and escalating as required- Troubleshooting network issue and escalating as required- Ability to read a variety of Graphs of systems information and interpret them to discern correct operationsl- Ability to dissect complex issues and generate concise accurate status- Generating metrics and reports for submission to customers using disparate data sources- Generating SOPs for use by the members of the Watchdesk and/or customers- Ability to lead small team of WD shift personnel- Ability to direct and provide meaningful guidance to teammates- Maintain schedules as requiredClearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SPOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
