We are seeking a reliable and empathetic Part-Time Downsizing & Relocation Associate to join our team.
Job Summary:
As a Part-Time Downsizing & Relocation Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients during their downsizing and relocation journeys. You will work closely with our team to provide hands-on assistance, ensuring a smooth and organized transition for seniors and their families. This role requires patience, understanding, and a genuine desire to help others.
Responsibilities:
Hands-on Assistance:
Assist clients with packing and unpacking belongings.
Help with decluttering and organizing household items.
Assist in sorting, labeling, and inventorying belongings.
Help prepare items for donation, sale, or disposal.
Assist with light cleaning and staging of homes.
Relocation Support:
Assist with packing and loading moving trucks.
Help unpack and set up new residences.
Assist with arranging furniture and personal belongings.
Provide support and encouragement to clients during the relocation process.
Client Interaction:
Provide compassionate and respectful assistance to senior clients.
Communicate effectively with clients and their families.
Maintain a positive and supportive attitude.
Build rapport and trust with clients.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Communicate any concerns or issues to the team lead.
Other Duties:
Assist with errands, such as dropping off donations or picking up supplies.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.

Ability to lift and move boxes and furniture (reasonable accommodations can be made).

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Background check required.
Prior experience working with seniors is a plus.
Prior Moving Experience is a plus
Schedule:
Part-time, flexible hours (days and times may vary depending on client needs).
Availability to work occasional weekends may be required.
Pay:
Up to $26/hr, plus cash tips for experienced applicants.
