Description We are offering a contract for a Property Manager with Public Housing experience. The role primarily involves managing the daily operations of assigned properties in accordance with established regulations and guidelines. The workplace is a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for a variety of functions ranging from administrative tasks to property maintenance and resident relations.Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the operation of assigned properties, ensuring a stable fiscal operation and good physical condition at all times. Provide leadership and direction to staff at the property, fostering a team environment. Prepare and control budgets related to property operations. Conduct general administrative tasks to support property operations. Maintain both the exterior and interior of the properties, ensuring a high standard of upkeep. Oversee unit leasing and rent collections, enforcing leasing agreements and ensuring timely rent payments. Deliver high-quality customer service to residents, facilitating efficient property operations. Ensure all procedures and units are compliant with applicable regulations. Fill vacant units within acceptable timeframes. Manage the financial resources and assets of the property, ensuring optimal utilization.Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role as a Property Manager in low-income/public housing. Proficiency in affordable/tax credit site management. Section 8 and/or Low-Income Housing Tax Credit certification Experience in handling Multifamily Properties is a must. Demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
