CGS is currently seeking a Credentials Specialist with federal government contracting experience to provide remote services on our corporate team. As CGS is preparing for growth and building an exceptional team with dynamic communicators with individuals who want to contribute to our vision and support the mission of our work. CGS is looking for the ideal candidate that has an operational mindset with outstanding and effective customer services and people management skills, capable of managing deadlines and possesses the ability and desire to create and build relationships with our clients and the people who work on our federal contracts.This position is for the individual who applies critical thinking to understand and address situations as our company grows and evolves. Essential job functions (includes but is not limited to)Highly focused on the review of credentialing files and reporting to work with candidates and cross-functional teams to obtain missing, incomplete, and expiring itemsMaintain online filing information for all candidates going through the credentialing/onboarding processDriving initiative to expedite the onboarding process and minimize the time in processRegularly communicates with internal and external candidates via email and/or phoneRegularly communicates with customer and subcontractor relationships via email and/or phoneOversees regulatory compliance expectations for state and federal programsFormulates criteria and workflows for candidates to follow to meet state and federal requirements to gain system accessIdentifies and recommends improvements to workflows and processes to improve accuracy and efficiencyMaintain confidential records and data, including but not limited to sensitive security information, personnel contact information, background check submittal information and employer informationUses Microsoft Outlook daily to perform administrative dutiesParticipates in collaborative meetings and may serve as point of contact for specific programs or platformsSupports recurring internal and external audit of recordsApplies concept of continuous improvement to develop new skills during changing initiativesAdhere to all company and department employment policies regarding security and confidentiality
