Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

Security Clearance: Active Clearance or Eligible to Obtain - U.S. citizenship required

Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 Depending on Experience and Education

Travel: 5%

Position Summary

SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking an RF Experimentalist to support our Aberdeen Research Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities of RF Experimentalist

Conduct experiments to support the directed energy bioeffects program.

Develop SOPs in a time sensitive manner with collaborators.

Develop and practice cadences for experiments.

Maintain laboratory equipment/supplies.

Attend RF source installations and training.

Reduce measured data and provide field strength estimates.

Ensure the quality of procedures and data.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.

Prepare and present presentations and written documents summarizing efforts

Minimum Qualifications of RF Experimentalist Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience, Master's Degree and 1 year of experience or PhD and 0 years of experience in STEM related field. Primary Knowledge & Skills Desired of RF Experimentalist

Working knowledge of RF sources pulsars (i.e. NLTL, DSRDs, magnetrons, AWGs etc.) and RF sensing equipment (i.e. D-dot and B-dot probes, oscilloscope, etc.).

Experienced in good measurement practices to build confidence in results.

SECRET Security Clearance

Working experience with anechoic chambers and/or GTEM. Experience managing large data sets through Matlab preferably
