Power Platform Development Intern - onsite MarylandAberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, USA Req #541Thursday, December 12, 2024ASRC Federal’s Summer Technology Readiness Intern Development Experience (STRIDE) offers undergraduate college students the chance to apply their technological interests and knowledge to exciting real-world missions.We are seeking a Power Platform Development Intern to support our Army CECOM SETA contract at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. This role is a temporary, on-site position .Security: Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a government issued background investigation to access to customer site. Work location : Onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MarylandProgram dates: 10-week summer internship, June – August 2025 Hours: 32 hours per week Summary: Interns will gain hands-on experience with Microsoft’s Power Platform, while following compliance and quality standards. Tasks will also include an ability to document and present on completed work. Education:

Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Must be a current junior or seniorin collegeat the time of application.

Key role:

Develop custom applications, automation workflows, and data-driven dashboards using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate).

Assist Power Platform SMEs with application development, process automation, and performance optimization.

Collaborate with IT and business teams to gather requirements and build user-centric solutions.

Analyze and improve business processes through automation and data integration.

Document solutions, project progress, and best practices for system deployment.

Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and enhancements of Power Platform-based applications.

Participate in Agile development sprints and team meetings.

Ensure compliance with DoD security standards, including data management protocols.

Basic Qualifications :

Understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate).

Familiarity with data integration concepts and business process automation.

Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience developing Power Platform solutions or supporting IT projects.

Knowledge of data visualization and dashboard design best practices.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
