Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for an Information Management Officer to support a Department of Defense customer located in Aberdeen, MD. Successful candidates shall provide technical support and guidance to senior leadership to include the following:
- Support the special projects of the Government Headquarters IT Directorate, maintaining comprehensive duties as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all information technology requirements and equipment by gathering, planning, and coordinating with Headquarters, subordinate commands, and conduct project planning, management and implementation initiatives as required.
- Current knowledge of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) requirements for all applicable devices and be able to perform the following.
- Properly document trouble tickets using the NETCOM approved system
- Maintain multiple specific credentials or authorizations from vendors, DISA and NETCOM
- Program and operate multiple handset brands and modes
- Maintain accurate user records on both the DoD and vendor's servers
- Ability to apply encryption and soft certification to devices
- Train the users on the functionality and operation of each device
- Setup and manage a US Army specific workspace embedded within the native Operating System (OS)
- Able to troubleshoot, program, repair or replace malfunctioning hardware
- Ensure the following "daily readiness for HQs CCDC and Two-Star Command Leadership:
- VTC expressway dialing for Command Suite and system troubleshooting both classified and unclassified
- Troubleshooting and repair of all audio visual, presentation system, computer, printer, display or ancillary electronic equipment
- Landline digital telephone troubleshooting and repair
- Provide Audio-Visual (AV) services:
- Presentation support, full event/ceremony set-up/teardown of all audiovisual and presentation equipment at both on and off site locations
- Set-up, operation, and troubleshooting of all AV, projection, lighting, conferencing equipment, devices, and systems for live events and meeting rooms
- Theater AV, Presentation and Technology Support, quote, engineer, and install monitors, projectors, screens, and speakers in class and conference rooms; support the AV needs of ceremonies such as Retirements, Change of Commands, and Seminars
- Ensure all AV equipment is fully operational, repair and service equipment when necessary, label broken equipment
- Serve as "customer advocate":
- Answering phones and in-person inquiries from a wide variety of customers
- Personally respond or refer customer to appropriate resource for response to inquiry or resolution of problem
- Logging all significant events into a database and coordinating problem resolution as necessary
- Utilizing database information to identify and report on trends in user requests and requirements
- Regularly review, analyze and make recommendations regarding application and desktop software and hardware development, utilization and Information Management Officer Policies.
- Provide recommendations to customers, other team members and management based on independent research and technical evaluation of available functional and standard programming equipment and networking capabilities taking test results and available performance reports into account
- Standard Requirement: Possess a Bachelor's degree as well as four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Tradeoff Requirement: Possess an Associates' degree and six (6) years of relevant experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Shall have a DoD 8570 Baseline Certification, IAT Level II or higher, example CompTIA Security+
- Active Secret security clearance required
- Possess a valid state Driver's license
