This position is contingent upon award of the ATEC Proposal.Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Cybersecurity Management Specialist IV.The Cybersecurity Management Specialist will be responsible for planning and delivering contracted services to the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) located at on-site in Aberdeen, Maryland. ATEC is one of DOD s foremost test and training organizations supporting DOD, non-DOD, and commercial materiel developers by testing a broad spectrum of equipment throughout their life cycles, from concept through deployment. The scope of this effort is to provide a select range of Information Technology (IT), IT logistics and cybersecurity services. The IT services encompass all activities necessary to provide project management; software & application development and maintenance; network management; system administration and infrastructure operations including Cloud migration and operations; general IT Support including help desk and VTC; and cybersecurity services.The Cybersecurity Management Specialist should have the following experience:
- Experience in technical assessment of IT security controls and devices for networks, applications and systems, IT auditing, IT compliance, enterprise risk management, performing cybersecurity assessments and inspections, providing incident response, creating/ updating/ implementing cybersecurity-relevant policies and procedures, etc.; c
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems or other closely related discipline and 7+ years of relevant experience OR 10+ years of experience
- DOD regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks, including NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, DoD RMF
- Experience in technical assessment of IT security controls and devices for networks, applications and systems at the network environment level and performing security assessments and inspections and conducting risk management activities at the enclave level.
- Experience in performing security scans, providing security related technical guidance, applying/implementing DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and other security related technical configurations
- Used cybersecurity/IT tools such as ACAS, HBSS/ESS, eMASS, etc. in order to perform tasks such as security scanning, providing security related technical guidance, hardening devices, evaluating technical risks, and understanding how changes in system configuration and/or network architecture affect a system s security
- Experience in information security or network/system administration, and/or a closely related function, such as IT audit, IT compliance, enterprise risk management, creating/updating/implementing policy
- Possess DOD 8570.01-M certifications meeting the requirements for IAM Level III (such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification and Comp Tia Sec+.
- IT experience in support of the Army.
- Experience in supporting complex tasks, including review of work products for correctness, compliance with industry 'best practices', DOD standards, and Army standards.
- The hours for this role are Full-time, Regular - Start and End times are dependent on customer requirements
