Billing Coordinator

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Coordinator in Scarborough, Maine. As a Billing Coordinator, your primary role will be to streamline the invoicing process, manage customer accounts, and ensure accurate record-keeping within the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) departments. This role is instrumental in maintaining the financial health of our company and requires proficiency in various accounting software systems.Responsibilities: Facilitate the timely dispatch of invoices to clients Manage customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintain and update customer credit records regularly Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action for outstanding invoices Resolve customer inquiries related to billing and invoicing Answer inbound calls from customers regarding billing issues Ensure accurate record-keeping of all billing processes Work closely with the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) departments Utilize accounting software systems to streamline billing processes Collaborate with other team members to improve billing procedures Requirements Proficiency in various accounting software systems Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Capable of answering inbound calls efficiently and professionally Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skillsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
