Bisson Last Mile Services, a family-owned company in Scarborough, ME is seeking an independent contractor operating a 26-28’ liftgate box truck, a helper and insurance to assist with home deliveries within Maine and New Hampshire and MA. Cargo includes large packages from retail stores, furniture, and also kitchen cabinets packaged in cardboard. This position is not delivering kitchen appliances. Training is available and required. Routes vary within Maine and New Hampshire, and MA so call for details.
Must have:
Own operating authority/DOT#
Liability and cargo insurance
2 person team with 26-28’ box truck, with liftgate
Valid drivers license
Driver must pass a criminal background check
Must be able to communicate with customers and use electronic devices for delivery.
Compensation is $800/day + extra mileage pay (begond 75 miles)
