Woodfords Family Services is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Facilities Technician to join our team! Thisposition will be based at our Westbrook, ME location and will require routine travel across all of Woodfords' locations and facilities.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary for all sites, independently and/or as directed by the Facilities Manager.
Works alongside team members to build upgrades to decks, interior painting, flooring, doors and windows as scheduled by the Facilities Manager.
Schedule and perform lawn maintenance as required by all sites.
Perform snow removal and sanding of driveways and walkways to insure the safe passage during winter months and operating agency snow plow.
Support of Agency fundraisers and other events.
Opportunity Details
$20.50-$23.00 per hour
Full-time, 40 hours per week
8:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday - Occasional nights and/or weekends required for event setup, storm duties, etc.

Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
Post-secondary degree or certificate in building trades, carpentry, or related field preferred.
1 year of experience in facility maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical or related job.
Experience with and ability to operate a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers, and small hand tools necessary to complete duties of the position.
Must have a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and use of a vehicle daily.
Authorized to work in the United States.
