Maine Mountain Timber Frames is looking for an experienced timber framer to join our crew. We build timber frames for homes and barns, along with high performance enclosure systems. Our focus is on craft, quality, and efficiency. The timber frame and woodworking shop is located in Avon, Maine with projects located throughout the state. This is a shop based position, with some site work also involved.
Typical work includes- laying out and checking timbers, roughing out with power tools, finishing with a chisel and mallet, assembling and raising on site.
The ideal coworker enjoys working hard, takes pride in their work, and has at least three years of timber framing experience.
