Assistant Manager at Bell Farm Shops

Maine, Maine
Aplica ya

Who We Are

Bell Farm Shops is a destination shopping experience located in a beautiful red barn on Route 1 in York, Maine. Our unique property is home to a charming collection of shops: Gift & Home, Backyard Birds & Garden, and Forever Christmas. We also have an onsite café, Nectar, open daily for breakfast and lunch. Spanning 2.3 acres, our property hosts classes, events, and seasonal plant sales. Our mission is to create a place that guests want to explore, enjoy, and share with friends.

Why We're Looking for YOU

Do you find joy in watching birds flutter to your feeder? Do you light up when teaching others how to attract chickadees or spot a cardinal? We’re looking for someone to join our Backyard Birds & Garden shop — someone who is passionate about birding and eager to share that passion with others.

Our birding department is rapidly growing. We carry an extensive selection of feeders, houses, seed, and habitat-enhancing items, and we’re becoming a go-to resource for backyard birders in Southern Maine and beyond. We're looking for a bird-loving Assistant Manager who can help educate customers, train staff, and eventually grow into the Manager role.

Who You Are

You love nature — especially birds — and want to help others discover the joy of birdwatching from their own backyards. You’re curious, reliable, friendly, and organized. You enjoy being part of a team but are confident making independent decisions. You’re motivated to help a small business thrive and excited to make a real impact on customers and community alike. While prior birding knowledge is a huge plus, we’re also happy to train the right person with a sincere interest in learning.
