Revolution Field Strategies is seeking multiple highly motivated candidates for the role of Verification Officer for a signature collection campaign in Maine. Opportunities in Portland, Augusta, Lewiston, and Bangor!
The verification officer will work with a team whose primary responsibility is ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data collected by canvassers within your office. This will include several techniques of quality control that must be performed on each piece of data collected by canvassers, so the ideal candidate will be able to quickly learn new skills and then effectively teach them to others. The ability to comfortably use a computer is essential. Leadership skills are essential to this position, as is a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to thoroughness. Positions are open immediately, with work lasting through the completion of the campaign.
Job Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain sorting and record-keeping systems for the duration of the campaign;
Adhere to meticulous data integrity standards;
Work cooperatively with a group while maintaining focus and structure for long hours;
Ensure reporting and accountability protocols are followed to provide up-to-date, actionable data and information to campaign leadership; and,
Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong communication, organization and time management skills;
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite - specifically Sheets,
Ability to work a demanding schedule and be available long hours, through the length of the program.
Training:
Verification Officers will receive extensive training and support from senior leadership.
Expectations:
Potential campaign staff will be expected to work campaign hours, up to 80 hours per week, leading up to the end of the program.
