I’m hiring a part-time personal assistant to help me stay on top of my emails and daily admin tasks at my bookkeeping business. This job is perfect for someone who likes quiet, steady work and can keep themselves focused without needing constant direction.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a remote position. You’ll need to work on-site at our office in Lewiston.
What the Job Involves:
Sorting emails and keeping my inbox organized
- Printing or forwarding invoices/documents as necessary
- Responding to client questions and requests
- Flagging and sorting emails that require my attention
Light work with Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDFs
General Office Admin items like answering phones, watering plants, shredding old documents, placing online orders, etc.
Occasional local errands (mileage reimbursed)
What You Should Know:
This job is designed to help me stay productive—I can’t resist conversation, nor am I able to effectively perform my work while talking. That means the ideal person for this role is totally fine with a quiet workday, minimal chit-chat, and working independently. You won’t hurt my feelings by keeping to yourself—I’ll actually be grateful! Some days will be busier than others. On slower days, you’re welcome to use the downtime however you like—reading, phone scrolling, homework if you’re in college—as long as it’s quiet and you’re able to monitor the inbox simultaneously to jump right in when something comes up.
