We are OPAL Build, sister company to OPAL Global, practicing sustainable design and construction. OPAL Global is an architecture firm, focusing on passive house design and reduced carbon footprint. OPAL Build is a panelized construction company focusing on all-wood high-performance assemblies.
OPAL Build is expanding and looking for someone to take on the bookkeeping role for the organization. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, managing the accounts payable and receivable, generating billing invoices, updating a general ledger, and preparing trial balances for our accountant. They will maintain and file requisite documents for taxation compliance. They will monitor cash flow and produce financial reports to assist management in making strategic decisions. The Bookkeeper will also run payroll and assist in benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years bookkeeping experience, has a strong working knowledge of Quickbooks (Online), Microsoft Office Suite and works well on a team in a face-paced environment. Experience in the construction industry is a plus!
