Summary:

Deburrs, polishes, cleans and assembles parts in accordance with operation instructions and/or drawing/print specifications; Operates grit-blast or bead-blast cabinet, honing, lapping, dyna file or Dremel tool and other machine tools designed to assist with the deburring or polishing of parts; Assists Shipping & Receiving operations with the cleaning, packaging, pressure testing and identification of customer parts. Benches, cleans and inspects machined parts;

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operates manual and automatic hand tools to insert heli-coils and pins into parts

Operates rotary and vibrating hand tools to remove burrs, break edges or polish finishes to specifications

Operates grit-blast/bead-blast box to polish parts

Operates tumbling machine to tumble and deburr parts

Assist with the application of specialty spray coatings on parts

Operates honing or lapping machines to finish parts to specifications

Operates laser marking machine to identify and track parts

Assists with the receiving, documenting and processing of incoming items/products into the facility

Cleans and inspects manufactured parts for deformaties or non-conformances

Pressures checks and marks parts to identify leaks or cracks

Assist with the maintenance and ensures the cleanliness of the manufacturing areas

Reviews and verifies traveler &/or process sheet instructions, blueprints, tool sheet and inspection procedures to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece and sequence of operations.

Inspects finished work piece to verify conformance to specifications with visual checks and the use of mechanical measuring equipment, tools or gages.

Fits and assembles parts into completed assembly. Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly.

Identifies, segregates, tags and notifies supervisory personnel of defective material or non-conforming part.

Performs preventive maintenance (PM) checks before, during and after operations on machine centers and working tools.

Conforms to and operates within the framework of all applicable SOPs, quality, safety and ISO procedures.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Dexterity and good eye sight

Good Attitude and team player
