Office Manager Position

Richardson & Associates, a small landscape architectural firm located in downtown Saco, is looking for an office manager with exceptional administration, management, computer, writing, marketing, graphic, leadership, and communication skills willing to make a difference. The firm’s work includes providing planning and design services for a diversity of clients and projects throughout New England.

The successful candidate will be a team player, have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, and be comfortable managing a diversity of tasks and projects. Day to day administrative responsibilities include front desk reception, answering phones, filing, ordering supplies, scheduling, copying, and reprographics. Experience with Mac and PC platforms, proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and a familiarity with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign is preferred. While the office has a long-standing IT consultant, some computer network knowledge/management is welcomed.

Graphic layout and general marketing skills, including the basic design and layout of promotional and proposal materials, is desired. The candidate should have strong writing skills that include copy editing and proposal writing.

This individual should be self-motivated, articulate, work well with others, and be willing to take initiative. Applicants should have experience with, and enjoy, a fast-paced work environment involving day-to-day management of multiple projects across a wide spectrum of types, sizes, and tasks.

We are seeking candidates who can commit between 24 and 40 hours per week. A candidate fulfilling our full-time position would receive holiday, vacation, and sick days as well as health benefits and a retirement plan.
