Must have previous experience in asbestos abatement and positive references speaking to his/her quality of work. All applicants are required to have a current asbestos certification, current asbestos license in Maine, current asbestos medical physical document as well as 10/30 OSHA certifications.
Responsibilities:
Perform asbestos abatement removal and disposal of ACM windows and caulking according to established protocols and safety guidelines including the removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials.

Set up containment areas to prevent the spread of hazardous materials
Use appropriate tools and equipment to remove and dispose of hazardous materials
Follow proper procedures for handling, packaging, and transporting hazardous materials.
Clean and restore affected areas after abatement is complete
Use appropriate tools and equipment to complete assigned tasks effectively
Requirements: MUST HAVE NO EXCEPTIONS WORKING ON MILTARY BASE
Current asbestos certification valid in the state of Maine
Current asbestos license valid in the state of Maine
Lift Experience (is a plus)
Must have OSHEA either 10/30/40
Must have physical card
Must have FIT test
Must be a US Citizen/Or authorized to work in the US
Must have a valid DL/State ID (current not expired)
Bilingual (is a plus)
