Small landscaping company based in North Yarmouth is looking to hire hard-working, detail oriented, and positive members with a desire to learn for our 2024 crew. We specialize in garden maintenance, garden design, installs, tree and shrub care, and hardscaping work. We primarily focus on residential properties, many of which follow the coastline from Portland to Freeport, and like to foster a fun, engaging, and efficient work environment.
Our season typically runs from April through November, with opportunities for arborist work throughout the winter.
This is a great opportunity to develop skills in: - Plant identification
- Weeding/general garden care
- Planting annuals, perennials, and trees
- Pruning shrubs and trees/deadheading annuals - Edging and mulching
- Garden design
- Stone Patios, walkways, and walls.
No experience is necessary, but desired skills include: - Desire to learn and work as part of a team
- Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions - Experience operating tractor/skid-steer/excavator
- Comfort driving/backing up trucks with trailers - Experience using power tools
