Full Job Description
Olivias Garden in New Gloucester, Maine is seeking a driver for our Saturday, Portland Farmers Market located in Deering Oaks. This person will drive the produce and market supplies from the farm up to Market, unload, participate in working the market, load the truck and return home.
This position is primarily responsible for delivering product to the markets in good condition while representing Olivia's in a positive, professional manner and providing great customer service at the Market. Experience with produce is highly desired, however not necessary. This Saturday shift is a long day, typically 5:30-45 to 1:30-2pm) in the high season. But do not let that scare you off. Markets are a fun way to spend your Saturday…great people, food trade options with other vendors and free produce.
Additional on-farm hours may be available for someone with farming experience.
