The Good Table Restaurant in Cape Elizabeth is looking for a sous chef to join our team for the upcoming summer season. This is a seasonal position with the potential for year round employment for the right person.
Applicants should have a strong foundational cooking background, and while previous management experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities will include running services and ordering products and all the other things sous chefs do. Qualified applicants should already have an understanding of what this means. More importantly, we are looking for a person who works and communicates well with others, gives and commands respect through their daily performance and demeanor, is still willing to take direction and criticism, and keeps a calm and level head throughout the challenges of a restaurant day.
