Bar Futo, a Japanese-inspired restaurant rooted in binchotan-fired cooking in the heart of Portland’s Old Port, is looking for a Server/Support person. Responsibilities:
Take guests food and drink orders, clear and bus tables
Full knowledge of menu items and dietary and allergy notes for the menu
Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages
Deliver a memorable dining experience and provide exceptional service
Keep dining area neat, clean, and organized at all times
Contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications/Experience
1 years experience working in a restaurant
Sake knowledge is a plus, but not required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Working knowledge of Toast POS
Ability to stand and work on feet for extended period (up to 10 hours)
Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 lbs
