Two Fat Cats Bakery is looking for a year round, full-time(35-40) savory pie baker to join our team. This position works at our Portland location at 195 Lancaster, our main kitchen which was designed for efficiency and ease of use.
Two Fat Cats Bakery is a small, but dynamic bakery specializing in pies and cakes. Recognized as one of the best pie bakeries in the United States, the bakery is fast-paced, team-focused and inclusive.
This position is primarily responsible for the bakery's savory menu. Responsibilities include making all meat pies including our crazy popular chicken pot pies, savory hand pies, soups, quiches, and seasonal specials. For the right candidate, growth opportunities exist including recipe development and creativity, cross training, and growing the savory program.
We are searching for a team member who has a positive attitude, a passion for cooking and baking, can work independently, has excellent time management skills, and enjoys working as part of a team. We require all employees to have an eye for quality. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm.
