Job Type: Full-Time (Includes Evenings & Weekends)

Compensation: Based on experience

About Us:

We’re a lively, community-driven candlepin bowling alley with a cozy bar and casual dining area. Our goal is to create a fun, welcoming space where guests can enjoy great food, drinks, and games. We’re looking for a hands-on Restaurant Manager who’s ready to lead our team and also work regular shifts in the kitchen when things get busy (which they often do!).

Position Summary:

As Restaurant Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of our bar and kitchen, with a focus on kitchen management and back-of-house operations. You’ll also work regular kitchen shifts to help support the team during peak hours. Responsibilities include staffing, training, inventory management, and ensuring a high standard of food quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and kitchen

Lead and participate in kitchen shifts (prep, line cooking, expediting)

Hire, train, and schedule kitchen and front-of-house staff

Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health codes

Manage food and supply inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships

Monitor kitchen efficiency, food costs, and waste reduction

Handle customer service issues as needed

Collaborate with bowling alley staff to coordinate service and events

Create a positive, team-oriented work culture

Qualifications:

Hands-on kitchen experience (line cook or prep preferred)

Strong leadership and communication skills

Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

Familiarity with POS systems, inventory, and scheduling tools

Flexible availability, including nights and weekends

Passion for quality food and great service

Bonus Points For:

Experience with casual or bar-style food menus

Event planning or promotional experience

ServSafe certification
