Two Fat Cats Bakery is opening a new location in the West End and we are looking for year-round, full-time or part-time baristas/ FOH to join our team! Two Fat Cats West End will be a bakery/cafe/market scheduled to open in October at 144 State Street in the Nightingale building. Like our Lancaster Street bakery, TFC West End will be a dynamic bakery offering the best in rustic American-style baking with a deep love for our community, good food and the joy that comes with it.
Our barista positions are early morning positions with some shifts beginning at 6am. Since these are part-time positions, we are happy to work with you to craft a schedule that suits your needs. New employees can work as little as 10 hours or as many as 40hours.
Our FOH team works together and is crossed trained on coffee as well as counter and customer service. Responsibilities include:
barista duties (we have a full espresso program)
providing excellent customer service
cashiering
maintaining the appearance of the display case
handling and storing food properly
keeping the bakery looking clean and inviting
cleaning, stocking, and adhering to safety protocols
pitching in to help wherever you can!
While skill and experience are a plus, we will happily provide training for the right person. Training and orientation will begin in late September. We offer a generous PTO policy, and a general desire to do right by all people. Health, vision and dental insurance is available for full-time employees. This is a tipped position and tips add $6-$10 to base pay.
