Bar Futo, a Japanese-inspired restaurant rooted in binchotan-fired cooking in the heart of Portland’s Old Port, is looking for line cooks. Job Responsibilities
Set up, stock, and work a station each brunch/dinner
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food/ensuring correct storage
Perform inventory checks
Keen attention to detail and organization
Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
Keep station neat, clean, and organized at all times
Contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications/Experience
No experience needed- we will train the right applicants that fit in with the team!
Ability to stand and work on feet for extended period (up to 12 hours)
Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 lbs
