18 Central is an established restaurant overlooking beautiful and picturesque Rockport Harbor. Chef Patrick and his small culinary team are the backbone of the restaurant. They make everything from scratch using solid foundation and french technique. Utilize local farmers, fishermen & cheesemongers seasonally. Showcasing all of the hard work that goes into our short but bountiful growing season here in Maine.
We are looking for a line cook to round out our small culinary family. This person can be experienced and a leader or can be newer to the profession and learn as they grow. We are flexible and adaptable and are happy to work with anyone's strengths, and willingness to be part of a team.
The position is full-time, 40+ hours per week with two or three days off in a row per week to enjoy the beautiful Maine coast and all it has to offer. Competitive base hourly pay plus overtime and tips. We can help finding lodging if needed.
