EL TEQUILA MEXICAN RESTAURANT is excited to announce the opening of our fifth restaurant in Saco, ME! Located right on Main Street, we are a large two story restaurant with additional deck and outdoor seating. We are looking for a dynamic and diverse team of people for the front of the house. Job openings include the following:
BARTENDER (21+)- must be efficient, quick, able to multi task, handle cash and most importantly, people. Mix a good drink and be creative. You’re the bartender you know the drill.
BAR BACK (18+)- you’re the bartender’s right hand- must be quick, able to focus on multiple things at once, stock, change kegs, mix server drinks, listen to the bartender.
SERVER (17+)- able to take orders, smile at people, understand the menu and POS system, handle cash, create a good experience for the customer even when they complain about literally nothing.
HOST- smile! You’re the first person the customer sees when they walk in. Responsible for knowing the restaurant layout, seating people, taking reservations, and answering customer inquiries.
TAKE OUT HOST- responsible for taking all to go phone orders, packing and keeping track of online orders. Anything to go related is your job.
Finally, all are encouraged to apply; being bilingual in English and Spanish is a big plus. Experience is nice but personality and work ethic are more important, we will train the right people- it is a people and customer based industry after all.
