Toddle Inn Child Care Gorham location is hiring for our DOE accredited private Pre-Kindergarten classroom. At Toddle Inn we believe in supporting the growth and development of children in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. Our educators guide the development of important skills through intentional teaching practices that meet the needs of the whole child. A responsive, play-based curriculum, combined with Handwriting without Tears, connects children to the world around them and encourages children to wonder, gain confidence, explore interests, and discover a love of learning.
This classroom will be a mixed age group of 4-5 year old children with wrap around care incorporated in the program. Teachers plan and implement curriculum encompassing all areas of early learning and development, such as: social/emotional, critical thinking, self-help skills, early literacy, math, science, art and fine/gross motor.
Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree with State of Maine teaching certificate K-2. Handwriting without Tears curriculum experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Applicants should have excellent classroom management skills, be reliable and be personable / nurturing for parents and students.
