WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Manager that is extremely organized, detail oriented, and proactive in anticipating and solving problems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management and a proven track record of successful project delivery. They will also have a well-developed professional network of local contractors and vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, architects, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Travel to various jobsites to meet with subcontractors and ensure projects are progressing.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
Implement quality control checks throughout the project.
Keep construction management software up-to-date (schedules, files, change orders, bids, to-do lists, etc.).
Resolve problems, recommend addendums as projects transpire, and execute changes as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and local building codes.
Oversee jobsite safety.
Report hours and costs daily for accurate tracking throughout the project.
Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Maintain effective communication with clients and project stakeholders.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
A degree in construction management, project management, or related field is preferred but not required.
Extensive knowledge of construction processes, project management, and local building codes.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously.
Proficient with construction management software.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Robust professional network with local contractors and vendors.
Willing to attend OSHA and other training, as required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent ability to supervise and manage time of self and others.
Starting pay range of $38-50/hr. Pay rate is negotiable and dependent upon experience and skill level. Hybrid remote/onsite work schedule.
Full-time employees receive 11 days (88 hours) PTO on Jan 1 every year with a prorated amount available from date of hire. Unused PTO hours do not roll over to the following year.
