Job Description

We are an international service provider for the finance industry with a strong position in the market, satisfied long-standing customers and are continuing to grow with our current range of products and services. We need reinforcements to help record, plan and implement regulatory requirements, particularly for our customers in the banking world. Help us shape the new organisation!

For this job, we are seeking a candidate who is flexible when it comes to facing new challenges and who feels more comfortable with a wide range of diverse tasks than with a structured procedure that never changes. They should enjoy diving into new issues quickly and be able to successfully finish them within the given time frame.

Duties:

  • Monitoring and analysis of legal regulations and guidelines relevant to product compliance (emphasis on: SWIFT, payment transactions, BPO processes, outsourcing); updating policies
  • Putting together compliance documentation, policies and procedures for managing operational risk; assessment, management, monitoring and communication of risks
  • Composing documents to meet internal and external reporting obligations, e.g. risk management
  • Providing professional advice on implementing compliance issues for the product
  • Organisation and supervision of and assistance with audits and certifications, e.g. SSAE-18, ISO27001, corporate audits, SWIFT SIP incl. post-processing and communication of the findings
  • Organisation, supervision and execution of audits with sub-contractors
  • Cooperation with the auditing and data privacy department in the preparation of test schedules and reports; coordination of internal measure implementation
  • Cooperation with the Compliance group department in further developing the ICS in the business division

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Experience in organising compliance issues from working with a financial services provider at an auditing company
  • Specialised knowledge of regulatory requirements for banks and willingness to continually get to know more about legal and supervisory issues
  • Knowledge and understanding of processes around the topic of internal control systems
  • Affinity for IT subjects
  • Experience in project management and organisation of processes
  • Flexibility, good communication skills and confident demeanour, eloquence in speech and writing, ability to convey complex issues
  • Analytical thinking and initiative, high level of responsibility and independence, receptiveness and ability to work in a team
  • Successful completion of studies in business law or business management or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent spoken and written English & German skills
  • Willingness to travel (< 20% of the time)
