Manufacturing EngineerPosition: Field Service Engineer Location: Hybrid (requires 90% travel to customer accounts; candidates must reside within 75 miles of specified locations) Pay $+/-100kHOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE:As a key contributor to the Global Engineering Team, you will play an integral role in installation, troubleshooting, training, and field testing of equipment and consumables. Your efforts will drive customer support both on-site and remotely. You will engage with new products and technologies while contributing to our product portfolio through company-provided training and self-directed learning. Building strong networks with customers is essential as you provide technical support and share commercially relevant information with sales teams.Roles and Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed technical reports for Engineering and Operations teams.
Conduct final inspections of equipment prior to shipment.
Manage installation and startup processes at customer sites, including scheduling.
Provide on-site maintenance for systems.
Implement proactive and reactive customer service interventions.
Handle complaints effectively while documenting resolutions.
Follow up on field tests to ensure standards are met.
Conduct training sessions for customers both on-site and off-site.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automation along with 3+ years of service engineering experience, preferably in an international context.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly with a self-motivated approach.
Hands-on personality suited for practical tasks.
Capability to work autonomously while being an effective team player.
Demonstrated initiative in problem-solving situations.
Solid technical understanding of mechanical engineering principles and automation processes.
Proficient in reading electrical and mechanical schematics.
Willingness to travel extensively (at least 90% of your time), including internationally, as well as be embedded at customer sites for extended periods.
Familiarity with MS Office applications is required.
Permanent Residency or Citizenship may be required; valid passport or passport card is necessary.
