We are seeking a senior test manager for of strategic client in the energy/utility industry to implement a new testing framework, standards and best practices and to lead all aspects of testing across all business applications. The candidate must have 10+ years of experience including a successful track record working in a mature testing practice for a complex, varied technical environment delivering high quality results to deliver successfully for IT and business stakeholders.
Position Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field
- 10+ years of QA and testing experience including 4+ years leading test management
- Project management experience
- Agile project experience
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Ability to influence business stakeholders to create collaborative partnerships to deliver quality solutions
- Proven experience implementing testing practices and frameworks
- Strong proficiency with test management best practices and implement
- Test practices for SaaS and on premise ERP, web/mobile and end point applications, integration/middleware components, as well as legacy microsoft applications
- Implementation of software testing practices and standards across functional, system integration, and regression testing
- Defect management practices and measurement
- Test management and reporting
- Energy or utility industry domain
- Automation tools and solutions, including selenium and modern test automation solutions
- Performance and load testing practices and tools
- Application security testing practices
