As a software engineer, you will be a member of an agile software delivery organization that focuses on moving the energy industry forward by inventing new, sustainable strategies and digital solutions that optimize business value. You will utilize some of the newest technologies, like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), to optimize the supply chain.

As a software engineer, you will be responsible for:

Delivering small-sized software engineering stories and tasks on time
Providing technical input while defining, developing, and evolving software in an agile development environment
Designing, developing and testing complex software solutions that drive business value.
Learning new technologies used throughout the organization
Participating in code reviews, implementing solutions based on team feedback and solving issues
Participating in technical discussions; participating in technical designs and presenting technical ideas through white boarding and presentations

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will require:

Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Have legal authorization to work in the U.S. (required). We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
Have functional experience using development technologies like JavaScript, Python, Java, Angular, NodeJS, Polymer, or React
Have a strong understanding of object-oriented design and software design patterns
Have a basic understanding of RDMS technologies like PostgreSQL, Oracle or MySQL
Have a basic understanding of testing frameworks like Junit, Jasmine, Selenium, or Cucumber
Have a basic understanding of machine learning (ML) or artificial intelligence (AI) methodologies
Have knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
