We are small Inn. We serve breakfast to about 24 people.
Join our team at Canal Street Inn, where we pride ourselves on serving delicious breakfast dishes in a friendly atmosphere. We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to assist in our kitchen during breakfast shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast items efficiently and to high standards.
- Assist with kitchen prep work, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
-Washing all necessary cooking pots and dishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Help with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a kitchen setting is preferred.
- Ability to work weekends and be punctual.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly wage. We Start every member with this hourly rate.
$13.75 if you have less than a year experience in the kitchen.
14.50 with 1 to 2 years experience
15- Up depending on the experience
