Surrey's Café is a great busy neighborhood restaurant, is looking for a reliable pantry prep cook. We are primarily a breakfast spot with lunch, soups, specials and fresh squeezed juices. Been here for 25 years.
Professional kitchen experience preferred but not required. This is a small kitchen and BOH crew has been with us for years so we will teach you our ways.
This position is on the cold/pantry line. Duties include:
Prepping & stocking cold line following our recipies
Support our pantry chef with assembling plates and orders
Helping wherever needed – making juices, plating bacon etc
Much help with cleaning and maintaining clean work area, practicing “clean as you go” policy
Help unloading boxes of oranges, Sysco orders, etc
Position hours: 7am approximately 3:30pm, We are open Thursday through Monday (closed Tuesday & Wednesday) Working weekends and holidays are required. (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve & Mardi Gras)
