Cafe Fleur De Lis CBD is a vibrant and well-established breakfast and lunch restaurant dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences. Our focus is on serving high-quality, delicious meals in a welcoming and comfortable environment. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced kitchen manager/ executive chef to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation and growth of our establishment. We need our KM to cheer on our staff to do well and lead by example.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:Oversee and lead a team of cooks and dishwashers, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation to maintain high standards of service.
Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Operations Management:Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
Implement and uphold standard operating procedures to maintain a consistent and excellent customer experience.
Menu input and creation of specials: Create weekly specials and have input on improving existing menu
Monitor inventory levels and liaise with suppliers to maintain an adequate supply of high-quality ingredients.
Health and Safety Compliance:Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
Conduct regular inspections to uphold a safe and hygienic environment for staff and customers.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a KM or in a similar managerial role within the restaurant industry. Breakfast restaurant experience is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of restaurant operations, including kitchen and front-of-house management.
Familiarity with TOAST system and other restaurant-related technology.
Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions to resolve issues.
Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
A passion for the food and beverage industry and commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience.
