Grand Isle Restaurant is seeking an experienced, hands on FOH restaurant manager. The qualified candidate will have had server and bartender experience at some point in their career with at least one year in a fine dining setting.
This position is full time and the schedule will fluctuate. Applicants with another job of any sort will not be considered.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Hiring and training of service personnel, including runners, shuckers, servers, bartenders.
Premeal coaching and review of service protocol, specials, events and flow of business.
Scheduling of staff
Ordering of supplies
Liquor Inventory and ordering
Closing paper work, cash handling, record keeping etc.
Cleanliness and upkeep of physical property.
Stepping into various job roles when there are unplanned staff deficiencies
Staying beyond scheduled hours when unforeseen business levels come to fruition to ensure that proper service is
upheld.
Marketing of restaurant by performing delegated duties that will come in due course.
