We are Suis Generis restaurant in Bywater. We also have a farm and food laboratory in Pearlington MS, where we grow unusual ingredients for our weekly changing menu. We also conduct flavor research through a wide array of fermentation techniques, dehydration, pressurization, magnetism and microbial action.
We are looking for a Farmer/server WITH TRANSPORTATION, who can work a server shift Friday nights at the restaurant and at the farm on Wednesday and either Saturday or Sunday. This is a very interesting and unusual job opportunity! We employ all organic-based farming methods and a zero waste model for the restaurant where we pickle, ferment or compost all food scraps.
Willing to train the right person with a passion for learning and growing unusual fruits, plants, vegetables and edible flowers. Also, don't hesitate to apply if you are a chef/line cook, because we can work with a FOH or BOH person in this role.
