Second Line Brewing is seeking a Shift Leader / Beer Server who is organized and self motivated. The Shift Leader / Beer Server will be an ambassador for our brand. This position reports to the Beer Garden Manager.
Responsibilities:
Counting and balancing cash drawers and distributing tips.
Ensuring all opening and closing duties are completed.
Accurately ringing in orders on Arryved Point of Sale System.
Greeting all customers with friendly service.
Managing events such as birthday parties, weddings, fundraisers, etc.
Pouring beer, making suggestions, and describing different beers to customers.
Takes initiative to keep the inside and outside areas of the Beer Garden clean, sanitary, and tidy.
Ensures the safety and security of themselves, other employees, and our customers.
Reports to work on time and in uniform.
Capacity:
Resourceful at troubleshooting mechanical and electronic issues (i.e. sound system, projectors, televisions, CO2 system, internet issues).
Must be able to communicate issues and vocalize ideas for solutions to the Beer Garden Manager and Owners.
Must be able to effectively speak to and sell beer. If you don't like beer or frequent customer interactions, this job isn't for you. You will learn about the brewing process and the beers that we sell as part of your orientation and training.
Shows leadership skills and enthusiasm for the job and the brand.
Physical Components:
Ability to lift, carry, and change a 55lb keg.
Ability to stand for hours at a time.
Must know how to use basic tools.
We have an indoor/outdoor space. You will be working in hot and cold conditions.
We are looking for people with flexible schedules. You must be able to work nights and weekends. The ideal candidate would be available for at least three shifts per week. All Beer Servers hired must also be open to working one bussing shift per week during “busy seasons". Bussing shifts pay $15/hour.
