It's time to prepare for our busy season!
Our established top ranked New Orleans based walking tour company aims to provide the most comprehensive, entertaining, and engaging tour experience possible. Our guests are presented with a historically accurate overview of the City of New Orleans origin, knowledge of our iconic and precious landmarks, and a taste of the places and people that make New Orleans so unique. Our guides are New Orleans natives, residents, and New Orleanians with a passion for sharing history, culture, and community. Our guided and narrated experiences highlight local businesses, historical buildings and homes, museums, art, food, entertainment, galleries, as well as unique spaces and general points of interest pocketed throughout New Orleans neighborhoods.
Available Positions:
We are searching for a couple of additional experienced Tour Guides to join our fantastic team on a part time or on-call basis possibly leading up to full time hours if desired. Tour Guides will work within the following of our current tour options:
St. Louis Cemetery #1
French Quarter
Garden District
Lafayette Cemetery #1
And additional areas.
Hours : Depending on guides availability and tour schedule.
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated familiarity with the City of New Orleans, including knowledge of New Orleans history.
Friendly, enthusiastic, kind, energetic, and passionate about New Orleans.
Flexibility, willingness to work with a somewhat unpredictable weather elements, good time management skills, and be proactive.
Dependable, reliable, responsible, and ability to work independently
Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Physically able to walk for a minimum 1-1.5 miles
Ability to interact with people from different backgrounds
Ability to memorize historical facts and recite facts clearly and accurately as possible
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills a bonus.
